We are launching a clothes closet for those who attend our
Church services. We look so forward to helping those in need.
.
Qualifications:
To qualify at least two services must attended. This is a very strict policy and will be upheld.
Clothing:
The Clothes Closet assists children and their families with "gently-used" clothing items. We do ask that when clothing is donated that it be stain free with no tears or rips. We also ask that the clothing please be freshly washed.
We appreciate the continued support of the Irving community. If you have any questions, would like to sponsor a child, or would like to purchase items for the Clothes Closet, please email us, and we can let you know what we currently need to add to our inventory.
Who does it benefit?
It benefits the families and children who attend our services. Each week we have a church bus who picks up children and many of these children have needs for clothing.
How is it funded?
We are funded through monetary donations from local business and residents, and from volunteers who donate to the Clothes Closet.
How can I help?
* Donate your "gently" used clothing, shoes, coats/jackets.
* Donate money or organize a fundraiser.
* Organize a Coat, Sock & Underwear or School Uniform Drive at your place of business, school, or organization.
General Guidelines:
Due to the Clothes Closet being a volunteer run organization, we are not able to pick clothing up from donors. An appointment will be necessary to for the Clothes Closet. All donations are tax-deductible, and receipts are gladly given upon request.
